My college friends and I stayed here because of the affordability and the location, however this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, and they accommodated my request of 3 twin beds in our room without any hesitation. The room was cleaned every day and in general the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff let us leave our luggage in their storage room after we checked out which was extremely helpful. Also, our train did not leave until 8pm, and one of the staff let us stay in a room on the second floor for free for a couple of hours. Hotel Galileo was a much better option than a youth hostel and for exactly the same price. Could not have had a better experience with the wonderful staff. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to rome. The location is about a 5 minute walk to a metro line and about a 10 minute walk from the Termini train station, very very convenient.

I would stay here again when visiting Rome. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk to Termini station. It is situated in a quiet street so there was no noise at night. Most big attractions are within walking distance and I felt it was totally safe when walking around. The room was a bit small but as I was travelling alone it was perfect for me. It was very clean including the bathroom with fresh towels provided everyday. There was no bottled water provided in the room but you can buy it in the lobby or one of the nearby supermarkets. Not many english speaking channels working on the TV if you are bothered about that. The staff at this hotel are excellent, friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. I enjoyed the breakfast here, nice coffee machine fresh fruit juices.

The very helpful staff and the spacious and airy bed room. We had a balcony which allowed us to keep the French doors open when we were at the hotel during the day. The room was cleaned daily and we were given fresh linen hand towels. There was a reasonably sized fridge in the room. We could buy a coffee in the lobby for a euro and soft drinks were also available. We could leave the key at reception each time we went out because there was someone on reception 24 hours a day. The hotel was close to Termini Railway station which made it very easy to get to and from Fuimicino Airport. There was an even closer metro station next door to a small but well-stocked supermarket. There was a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The controls for the heading and air-conditioning were easy to use.

Working AC in Rome and a quiet, comfortable room. Loved the free breakfast - great way to save time and $. The reception folks were very nice and it was great to have an elevator to get you up the stairs after a long day. Walking distance to two metro stops and a delicious and affordable restaurant down the street. I liked that we left the key with reception- we never had to worry about it. I also liked that we had two twin beds. We were a mother/daughter team so it was nice not to fight about covers and leg-stretching.

Andrea

The room had new furniture and the mattress was.comfortable. I liked that I was able to eat in the morning boiled eggs, cheese, ham, not just coffee and pastries like most Italian breakfasts. Not a lot of variety with the hams/cheese, but we managed. The staff was very kind and I dropped my card when I paid for the city tax and they called me and I was able to come back for it. Walking distance 5 min from Termini train station was great and 30 min from Colosseum and most attractions.
